She is directly in charge of developing and putting into effect foundation giving and major donation strategies in her capacity as vice president of transformational philanthropy. Heifer International is a nonprofit organization with a mission to end world hunger and poverty by assisting families in establishing profitable farming and food enterprises that support rural economies. Since its founding in 1944, Heifer International, a Little Rock, Arkansas-based organization, has given livestock and educational opportunities to approximately 40 million families in over 125 countries. It currently offers programming in 21 nations, and via its efforts to bridge the living income gap, it helps almost 1 million agricultural households every year.
